What makes Grande different from regular pavers?
Scale. Grande is Techo-Bloc's oversized slab format, so you get large stone faces, fewer joints, and a cleaner, more high-end look than small pavers can deliver. Slabs are made for foot traffic areas like patios, walkways, and pool surrounds, which is exactly what a deck replacement calls for. Will the slabs crack or heave in our winters?

How does it hold up to snow shoveling and de-icers?
Well. Techo-Bloc tests its products against repeated saltwater exposure, and the low absorption rate keeps snowmelt from soaking in and refreezing inside the slab. You can shovel, snow blow, and use ice melt without babying the surface.
What maintenance does it actually need?
Sweep it and rinse it. The polymeric sand in the joints hardens to resist weeds and washout, and sealing is optional since it only enhances color and stain resistance rather than protecting the slab itself. If a stain or a scar ever shows up years down the road, we can lift and replace that single slab instead of redoing the patio.
Does Grande work around pools?
