Patios, pool decks, walkways, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and retaining walls. Designed for your property, installed on a base that laughs at freeze-thaw winters.
Concrete pavers give structure to an outdoor space the way framing gives structure to a house. Here is what we design and install across Onondaga and Oswego Counties:
The outdoor living room. We design patios around how you actually use your yard, from morning coffee corners to space for the whole crew on game day.
Slip resistant, cooler underfoot than plain concrete, and pitched so splash water drains away from the pool instead of puddling at your feet.
First impressions start at the curb. Lighted walkways, front porch steps, and entry landings that guide guests to the door and hold their line for decades.
A fire feature does not just add to your outdoor season here, it stretches it by a couple of months on each end. Built in paver surrounds included.
Grill islands, counters, and prep space that turn cooking outside from a balancing act into the best part of the evening.
Slopes want to move, especially when spring melt saturates the soil. Engineered walls hold the grade, stop erosion, and carve usable space out of a hill.
Anyone can lay pavers on dirt and make it look nice for a summer. In Central New York, the difference between a patio that lasts decades and one that heaves by the third winter is everything that happens before the first paver goes down. Here is what goes into every installation:
Every transformation starts with a yard somebody had given up on. Grab the slider and see what a premium paver pool deck does to the exact same space.
Between Lake Ontario snow, Oneida Lake humidity, and dozens of freeze-thaw swings every winter, this region punishes outdoor surfaces. Premium concrete pavers earn their keep here in ways plain concrete and wood never will.
A jointed paver surface moves with the ground through freeze and thaw instead of cracking against it the way a single poured slab does.
Premium pavers are pigmented through the entire unit, so the color you pick is the color you keep. No fading topcoat, no wear lines in the traffic path.
Need to run a sprinkler line or fix a low spot years from now? We lift the affected pavers and reset them. A poured slab makes you cut and patch.
Textured surfaces add grip when wet or icy, which matters around pools, on front steps, and on every walkway from November through April.
Proper pitch and a base that moves water mean rain and snowmelt go where we send them, away from your foundation and off your patio.
Sweep it, rinse it, top up joint sand once in a while. No annual staining, no board replacement, no crack chasing every spring.
Call, email, or use our contact form. Tell us what you are dreaming up, whether it is a simple walkway or a full backyard transformation.
We walk the property with you, check grading and drainage, and talk through materials, patterns, and layout options that fit your space.
You get a written proposal covering scope, materials, timeline, and cost. No surprises and no pressure while you decide.
Excavation, base, bedding, pavers, and joints. We leave the site clean and your new hardscape ready to use.
Not when the base is built right. Heaving happens when water sits under a surface and freezes, so we excavate to proper depth, build a compacted stone base that drains, and lock the edges with solid restraints. The jointed surface then flexes with the seasons instead of cracking. That base work is the whole reason professional installation outperforms a weekend project in this climate.
For Central New York, pavers win on the things that matter long term. Poured slabs crack where freeze-thaw decides, and repairs mean cutting and patching. Pavers flex with the ground, hold their color through the unit, and can be lifted and reset one at a time if anything ever needs attention. Concrete costs less on day one; pavers cost less every year after.
Later than most people expect. We install through the fall until the ground starts freezing, and cool weather is honestly pleasant working weather for base prep. If you call in late season and the window has closed, we get you on the spring schedule so your project is one of the first out of the gate.
That is what polymeric sand is for. It hardens in the joints to resist weeds, washout, and insect tunneling. It is not a forever product, so we recommend topping it up every several years as part of normal upkeep, which takes an afternoon rather than a season.
Yes to all three. The surface handles normal snow removal fine. Use a plastic edge or skid shoes on equipment, go easy with harsh de-icers, and your pavers will come out of every winter looking like they went in.
Yes. During the site visit we talk through how you use the space, then propose a layout, pattern, and color blend that fits your home and budget. You are choosing from real options we have built in this area, not guessing from a catalog.
We install hardscapes across both counties. Find your town below for details on service in your area.
